Rental Information
Whether you are planning a wedding, a birthday party, a weekend long event, business meeting or you are looking for long-term lease space for your business or office, the Thompson Community Center has rooms and space to meet your needs. Long-term Leases

Our long term leases include heat and electricity. We have rooms available on both the first and second floors with elevator service to the second floor. Some of our rooms include separate office space while other rooms have high, vaulted ceilings. Room sizes vary from 15 x 22 square feet to as large as 25 x 41 square feet.

 
Short-term (party) Rentals
At the Center, we have several different size rooms to accomodate varying sized events. We have rooms ideal for smaller, intimate groups as well as rooms that will comfortably accomodate 75 people. Room rentals include tables and chairs.
 
Gymnasium and Snack Bar Rentals

Our Gymnasium is ideal for weddings or large auditorium-like events. Our capicity is 275 including tables and 550 with just chairs. In addition to the Gymnasium, our Snack Bar is also available to rent. The Snack Bar includes refrigeration, ovens, stoves, coffee makers, etc. Gymnasium rental includes tables and chairs.
 
 
 
Table and Chair Rental

Having an event at your home or business and you don't have enough tables or chairs, the Thompson Community Center rents tables and chairs. Tables are 2 1/2 x 8 feet and chairs are brown-metal, folding chairs. For more information, call 975-0352 or ThompsonCenter51@gmail.com 
Fundraising Events

The Thompson Community thrives to be a full functioning community center with our mission being to promote civic, educational and recreational activities.  We function with 98% of our staff being volunteers with all of our programming being run by those very dedicated individuals.  We do not receive town funding nor do we have any subsidies.  Therefore, we can only assist with outside fundraising activities on a limited basis.
 
Though we are not in a position to give our space away, we will work with our community to assist in fundraising activities to the best of our ability.  Our Board of Directors reviews all requests for Fundraising and our Office is more than happy to assist you through the application process.
