Thrift Shop

The Thompson Community Center Thrift Shop has served local residents for over 15 years. The Thrift Shop is run and managed by senior volunteers, local community members and people in retraining and employment programs. All proceeds from its sales are used for running the Center and developing new programs to benefit community members.

Products

The Thrift Shop provides a variety of items to our community at reasonable costs. Some of the items we routinely carry are clothing, children’s toys, shoes, bedding items, kitchenware, books, music and collectibles.

Volunteer

If you have a few hours a week or month, we are always seeking volunteers to help sort donations, run register, and other needed activities in our busy Shop.

Donations

At this time we are gladly accepting all donations with the exception of mattresses, pillows, Electronics and infant/toddler car seats manufactured before 2004.

After hours, donations can be placed in the yellow collection box beside the Thrift Shop entrance.
